Welcome to the First Baptist Church Basketball Summer Camp page. We are glad you stopped by. At our baskeball camp, we are dedicated to providing a positive, safe environment for 7th through 9th grade boys to spend summer free time learning the game of basketball, and growing in character. Our coaches are dedicated to building skill and positive character in their players.
WHY CHOOSE OUR BASKETBALL CAMP?
SKILL DEVELOPMENT:
Our basketball camp offers a skill improvementprogramthatwillteach young players the fundamentals of the game including ball handling and shooting techniques. It will also provide opportunity to practicet those skills in various daily scrimmages.
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT:
We believe the greatest lessons team sports teach are about the character development of the players. Our camp will encourage positive moral and spiritual character development in the lives of our students as we teach them the game of basketball. These values include: Honesty, Integrity, Perseverance,Self Control, Respect for Self and for Authority, FairPlay,Responsibility,Diligence,and TeamWork.
LOCATION:
We are a Christian camp for local players, conveniently located in the Hudson Valley, in the town of Rhinebeck. Our coaches are local volunteers who understand Jr. high-school sports.
CONVENIENCE:
Our camp operates from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Drop off your teens before work, and pick them up after!
